Pattern of the Test

The online test primarily comprised a General Aptitude Test, covering areas like Quantitative, Verbal, and Logical Reasoning, with a time limit for each section following the AMCAT pattern.

Group/Case Discussion

During the JAM Sessions, candidates engaged in discussions on various topics such as Brain Drain, Impact of technology in Disaster Management, e-Learning v/s Regular Learning, and Impact of Social Media. These topics were chosen to reflect current issues like bitcoin.

Technical Interview

In the Technical Interview, which typically lasted between 15 to 35 minutes, candidates were questioned on basic concepts of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) such as encapsulation, inheritance, and function overloading.

Additionally, questions were based on projects and their practical applications, basics of data structures and their complexities, as well as programming concepts like binary search in C++, and the Fibonacci sequence.

Further questions covered topics like machine learning, basic algorithms, and Database Management Systems (DBMS).

 

HR Interview

The HR Interview, lasting between 10 to 25 minutes, included basic HR questions such as introducing oneself, explaining reasons for choosing the company and the specific profile, and articulating one’s vision for the future.

Questions were also drawn from the candidate’s CV, General Knowledge, and projects undertaken, along with some logic-based inquiries.

Additionally, candidates were asked about their involvement in clubs or societies and how they would handle internal differences within a group.
