Pattern of the Test

The online Test comprised a Coding Aptitude Test, lasting for 3 hours. The test included an advanced level online test with one coding question having 50 test cases, and candidates were required to pass all 50 test cases.

Group/Case Discussion

Technical Interview

In the Technical Interview, candidates underwent two technical interview rounds.

The first round lasted for approximately 45 minutes, while the second round lasted for around 30 minutes.

Questions in these rounds covered various topics such as Coding Aptitude, Data Structures & Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS), networking, Operating Systems (OS), and projects. Additionally, candidates were asked about Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Architecture, concepts related to computer science major subjects, Binary Search Trees (BST), discussions about capstone projects, heap questions, and Database Management Systems (DBMS).

The interviews also included simple puzzles and questions related to C++.

HR Interview

In the HR Interview, lasting between 10 to 30 minutes, candidates were asked questions about themselves, their family background, hobbies, and interests.

They were also queried about previous interview experiences, career aspirations, short-term expectations, and comfort with the location of the job. Questions also delved into the candidate’s knowledge about the company profile and reasons for choosing Samsung.

Furthermore, candidates were asked about their projects, internships, non-technical extracurricular activities, ultimate aims, achievements, plans for higher studies, and puzzles.
