Selection Process: Test (online), Personal Interview

Pattern of the Test

The online test comprised into two main sections: General and Coding Aptitude.

In the General section, candidates were assessed on verbal, quantitative, and paragraph writing skills.

Meanwhile, the Coding section evaluates candidates’ programming abilities through a series of programming questions.

Group/Case Discussion

Technical Interview

In the Technical Interview, lasting approximately 20 to 30 minutes, candidates were probed on various technical topics such as general electronics and communication, the difference between Java and C++, security aspects of these languages, project-related queries, and their reasons for choosing Wipro, particularly if they came from a non-IT background.

Furthermore, candidates may have encountered questions on specific programming concepts like virtual functions, static variables, and data structures like linked lists.

The interview also delved into the candidate’s ability to learn new languages, along with questions related to coding, database management systems, and language proficiency mentioned in their resume.

 

HR Interview

HR Interview, which spanned between 8 to 40 minutes, candidates were engaged in discussions focused on understanding their personal attributes, career goals, and alignment with Wipro’s values.

Topics covered may have included self-introduction, presenting a new product idea within a time constraint, willingness to work in various locations, memorable college experiences, opinions on socio-political issues such as Article 377, and the economic contribution of housewives.

Additionally, candidates were asked about their aspirations, learning experiences, reasons for choosing Wipro as an employer, strengths, weaknesses, and personal interests and hobbies.
